Client/Server Comm Lib for Xbase is a component DLL library that provides a native API to Xbase 12. This component DLL has been tested with Xbase 12.1 and 12.5. Installation: Compress/uncompress the file into the folder where you want to keep your project. To install into a bin folder, make sure that the bin folder is selected in the project configuration. You can also install the components into your application's installation directory. In case of the former, you must ensure that the bin directory is part of the package. Make sure that the directory to keep your project is not part of the installation folder. If your application is to be installed in an interactive mode, go to Project | Properties | Linker and change the Generate dump file= option. In case of Windows 98/NT, you can also use the file. Notes: The installation path should be in a C:\...\XbaseXX directory. Make sure that you have a valid program name for your Xbase installation. If you have a test Xbase database, make sure that you have a valid test program name. References: License: Copyright (C) 1995-2009 Xbase, Inc. All rights reserved. Macromolecular aggregates of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are produced by a novel shear-induced turbulence (SIT) method. AgNP-laden water droplets are sheared in a beaker to generate turbulence, thereby resulting in homogeneous precipitation of polymeric particles. The morphology of AgNP-laden polymeric particles can be controlled by varying the volume fraction of AgNPs in the water droplet. The use of a viscoelastic surfactant results in polymeric particles that are much smaller than the original droplet volume. Aggregates with sizes of several hundred nanometers were obtained by a SIT process. A theoretical model for the SIT process indicates that polymeric particles with sizes in the range of several hundred nanometers can be produced by controlling the shear rate. This is the first demonstration of the production of AgNP-laden polymeric particles with a homogeneous dispersion by a SIT process. An 972550f159
